Woolff Gallery: A Continued Commitment to Emerging Artists

Woolff Gallery has proven to be an invaluable partner to The Graduate Art Show, consistently showcasing a rich array of talent and offering a platform for new and emerging voices in the art world. This commitment to supporting early-career artists is reflected not only in the exhibitions but in the gallery’s dedication to fostering long-term relationships with the artists featured in The Graduate Art Show.

In January 2025, Woolff Gallery had the pleasure of showcasing Isa Barontini and Polly Goodey, both of whom were alumni of The Graduate Art Show 2023, alongside other exceptional artists. Barontini’s ceramic pillows, inscribed with fragments of dreams anonymously sourced from the public, captured the imagination of many. Her latest exhibition marked the debut of her ‘Spoons’ collection. Each piece, slip-cast and adorned with nostalgic Italian sayings, is a testament to Barontini’s exploration of public engagement and cultural memory.

Woolff Gallery continues to showcase the dynamic talents of The Graduate Art Show alumni. Jessica Babbini-Baker, whose solo exhibition is on view until March 15, 2025, is just one example of the gallery’s commitment to supporting the ongoing development of its featured artists.

The gallery’s dedication to emerging artists is further demonstrated by its Hari Hotel Exhibition, which showcases an all-female collection of artwork. Several of the exhibition’s shortlisted artists include Lacey Ferri, Farzaneh Ghadyanloo,  Anastasiya Levashova, Emilia Ashby, Aneira Thomas, Lindsey Macadie, Jee Hee Kim, Chantel Okwesa and Helena Lacy.

These talented artists are on track to be part of upcoming exhibitions that highlight their growing influence in the art world.

The Graduate Art Show’s role in facilitating these key connections is undeniable. For many of the artists featured in Woolff Gallery’s exhibitions, The Graduate Art Show served as an initial stepping stone to further recognition and success. As with The Vanner Gallery, Woolff Gallery understands the importance of continuous support and offers a nurturing environment where early-career artists can thrive.

By continuing to showcase graduates and offering new opportunities, Woolff Gallery plays a critical role in the careers of many young artists, ensuring that their voices are heard and their work is seen by a larger audience. The gallery’s involvement in The Graduate Art Show is a testament to its unwavering dedication to elevating emerging talent and providing a platform for artistic exploration.

These two galleries serve as vital touchstones in the development of early-career artists, offering not just a space to exhibit, but an ongoing platform for growth and recognition. Through their long-term support and involvement with The Graduate Art Show, both The Vanner Gallery and Woolff Gallery play a crucial role in shaping the future of emerging artists.
